I am Interested in the spaces where we spend our time, and how it's created.
_ Christopher Attenborough is a contemporary artist working with sculpture, photographic media, installation, and zine publication. The primary focus of all the projects is on the places that we have created, the systems, and events which take place in those spaces. Chris received his BFA in photography from Maryland Institute College of Art (2005) and a MFA in Studio Art from the Burren College of Art, National University of Ireland (2009). He has also studied at the Royal College of Art, London. Attenborough is the co-founder of the Roving Project: a wandering gallery occupying slack space for short-term exhibitions, he has exhibited at the Irish Museum of Contemporary Art, Monster Truck, Seven (Miami Art Fair), Catalyst, (E)merge (DC Art Fair), Queens Art Express, G126, and most recently De Buck. Chris was also Co-Director of "Plywood" a pop-up site for creative practice in north Baltimore and is part time faculty at MICA. Currently he works at Union Craft Brewing and is working toward producing SPARE an accessible journal of leisure.
